Quentic App Data Protection Regulations


The following terms inform you about which data is collected through the website that is operated by Quentic Finland Oy, in the following “Quentic”, (hereinafter referred to as “Internet services”) and how this data is processed and used.

1. Objective of these data protection regulations

These data protection regulations apply to all services and offers that are made available and offered under „app-identity.quentic.com “.

2. Data collection and legal basis

When you visit the page for logging in to the Quentic mobile app, certain data is automatically stored. Each time you visit the website, the IP address, browser type, access times, the name of the Internet service provider, the website from which you accessed the website are automatically transferred to the Quentic server by the computer used and stored there, insofar as this is legally permissible. Except for the purpose of preventing and tracking unauthorised access to the Quentic website, this automatically transmitted data will not be used. The data and the provision of the site are made for the purpose of enabling SaaS access to the Quentic mobile app, i.e. for the provision of the contractually owed service. Data collection and use after successful login is based on the contractual relationship with the individual customers of the app.

3. General use of the data

3.1 The personal data, which is collected through the Internet services, is processed and used by Quentic for a specific purpose and in accordance with legal regulations, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (especially Art. 5 and 6 GDPR therein). As a matter of course all personal data is treated as confidential and strictly not passed on to third parties, especially not for commercial purposes, unless Quentic is legally obliged to do so.

3.2 We use cookies on the login page. “Cookies” are small text files that allow user recognition.

We only use session cookies. The data stored in session cookies only apply to your current visit to the website and serve to enable you to use the Log In service without restriction. They only have a running time until the end of the session, i.e. when the page is called up. Your browser can be set in such a way that cookies are generally rejected. Registration is then still possible. 

4. Data deletion

The cookie data has a duration until the end of the session, a maximum of 24 hours. The data you enter for the login and which are then stored by you are covered by the contractual relationship between your company and us. If you have any questions about this, please contact the internal department responsible for this or us. We will then forward the question to you.

5. Rights of access and rectification Article 16 et seqq. of the EU General Data Protection
Regulation

You have the right at any time to request information free of charge about the data that Quentic has stored about you and your company. Furthermore, you have the right to have incorrect data rectified, blocked or deleted. You also have the right to set restrictions on the processing of your data. Please contact the data protection officer using the heading “data protection”.

6. Right of appeal

You have the right to contact the relevant supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 45 and Art. 52 DSGVO if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the DSGVO.
The addresses of the respective supervisory authority can be found on the authority pages.
If you send your complaint to a supervisory authority which is not competent, it will immediately forward it to the competent supervisory authority (art. 52 para. 2 DSGVO). You will be informed about this by the supervisory authority.

7. Legal bases

The legal basis for processing results is Article 6 Para 1 lit. b), lit. f) GDPR.
